Sounds like you and Manny had a very strong and loving bond. That must have been comforting to get a strong and clear message from Manny that he would see you again one day.
With all my being I believe I will see my pets in the next life--they are just a heartbeat away, and waiting for me up on Rainbow Bridge.

Pets and Heaven by: Anonymous
You obviously shared a great bond with Manny! He left you a strong message of love, and that he would see you again!
I truly believe our pets will reunite with us when we humans go to Heaven. I cannot imagine life in such a wonderful place as Heaven without our wonderful pets beside us who have given us so much unconditional love on earth.
I know my "kids" are waiting patiently for me just as they did here on Earth. My dog Zeke especially was very protective of me and literally never left my sight unless I had to leave the house. I know he will be the first one to run up and greet me when I meet them on Rainbow Bridge.

Pets and Heaven by: Linda
You obviusly had a great bond with Manny, and he felt it.
I truly believe our pets do go to Heaven with us. I can't imagine why they would not be included in Heaven when they were made by God and have given us humans unconditional love. I know I will see my dogs someday and that they are waiting for me, especially my dog Zeke who was extremely protective of me and followed me around 24/7. It makes me less fearful of dying; knowing that it means I will once again be reunited with my beloved "kids". I believe with all my heart in the poem, "Rainbow Bridge".

Tribute to Manny by: Anonymous

It is obvious to see that Manny was very loved by you and that he loved you as well. I do strongly believe that our pets will be with us again some day. I cannot imagine that God would not unite us with such a significant companion in our lives. Our pets give us pure unconditional love, which, as you say in your tribute, is the closest thing to God-like love that there is. I lost my dog Sherwin (see Soaring Free) in May and I think of him every day. Thank you for your inspirational story. Every time I read one of these stories it gives me more hope that one day I will see him again. Take care.
