She would have been 20 years old in December 2013. She was the joy of my life. A perfect little Angel!
She was almost my shadow following me everywhere I went when she could go with me. She slept with me each night until I was afraid for her to get off the bed by herself. Then I put her little bed on the floor right beside my bed for here to sleep in.
She was doing so good up until the night that she died. She had a little doggie door and she could come and go as she pleased. That last night I got up and she was trying to get out her doggie door and she could not find the door. I got up and took her out.
When she started in I picked her up and she screamed for the first time. She never fussed or cried. I sat her down by her water bowl and she just fell over and screamed again and soon after that she was gone from me.
Now it seems that I can hear her doggie door opening and closing at times as it always did when she wanted to come in. But she is not there.
She was born in December of 1993 and left us on July 9th of 2013. Such a joy and a pleasure to all of us through the years. Life will certainly never be the same without our little white poodle!
One day she will cross over the Rainbow Bridge to come to me and that will be a great time for both of us. She will never be forgotten!
My Special Angel.... My little "Sweetie Angel Ratliff."
