My Ralphy Cat Story

Two years ago we were given an awesome Christmas present from my stepdad Riki. It was a small ginger cat who we didn't think was real but it actually was. We also wanted to find out what his name was and it so happened to be Ralph which I thought was a cool as name for our cat.

When me, Cullen, and Whetu were being introduced to Ralph he wanted nothing to do with us because he was so afraid of what we might do to him so we thought maybe we should give him a bit of time to get to know us a bit better and so we did. Man did he used to drive my brother up the wall lol!!

Ralph and my brother used to have mean scraps with each other. Ralph would try and jump up on to my brothers top bed bunk to annoy him. Cullen was annoyed by Ralph that he would tell him to get off and guess what Ralph wouldn't listen lol!!! He would just continue to annoy him until finally we made Ralph a sitting perch on the top window so he could sit on it. That pretty much was his way of looking outside at all the birds flying around wishing he was out there with them.

On November 11 2012 he had his first ever birthday with us and he turned 1 years old. What an awesome first birthday he had with us then 2013 came along which was last year that was an extremely busy year because we were moving house and what a huge move it was for my family because we moved from a tiny little flat to an actual house. Meanwhile we managed to shift our lovely cat Ralph to his new home which was only up the road from our old house it was a successful move for us and we settled in just fine. As for Ralph it took a bit of getting used to switching new houses sort of thing which was ok because only after a few weeks he was used to the house which was amazing to hear.

I gotta say that he was a very good looking cat and he still is now. Our cat also loved being outside quite a lot, oh yes he did. Ralph would actually catch a million birds and mice and tear them to pieces that's how strong of a cat he was. He would also try and get his own way he was an expert in that department Ralph would scratch and scratch the door for ages until one of us decided to let him outside that's just how he was.

On November 11 2013 we as a family celebrated his 2nd cat birthday and it was awesome as we made him a special cat cake just for Ralph. Around about Christmas time last year I decided to get Ralph a Christmas present just for him. My mum chose it for him by the way and guess what he didn't like it lol!!! Waste mummy's $20 ralph haha.

Then here comes the sad part he went missing for three days. Then on Jan 16 2014 we got a call from the lady who had found our beloved ginger cat Ralph, but it was one of the saddest news I have ever received and that is our beloved boy Ralph had been hit by a car. I was soo devastated by the loss of our one and only cat Ralph it was also hard for my family as well to hear about that tragic news.

We buried him in our lovely fresh garden on the night that we found him it was hard for us to say goodbye it really was because he taught us all about caring, love and most importantly respect.

You will forever be in our hearts our beautiful loving boy we miss you so much boy!!! But as we all know that you are safe now in Jehovoah's world and you will no longer suffer any more pain and that's a promise I will keep forever. The house feels so empty without you boy. But I know for sure that you wouldn't want us to be sad but I can't help but not cry for you Ralphy. Jehovah is taking care of you now boy which I'm pleased about and that's the main thing aye Ralphy. You're home with us now boy we all miss you so much Ralph!!!
