Our Sweet Angel Lola

Our sweet little girl Lola was everything we could have wanted. She was a mini Schnauzer and she lived with us for almost ten wonderful years. There was something special about this little girl, it was like she was human. She was so happy and healthy.

On September 29, 2015 our beautiful baby girl was suddenly taken from us. I came home that afternoon to let her and her Airedale brother Roycie out in the backyard. She was excited and went running as usual. The next thing I knew I saw her collapsed on the ground! I ran over to her and she was limp! I raced her to our vet's office but she didn't make it. She died in my car! The doctor said it could have been something with her heart.

If only we had known there was something wrong, we would have done anything to prevent this. She had been checked at the vets a few weeks before and was fine.

Lola, our hearts are so broken and we are devastated! How could this happen? You were so full of life and energy. You loved everyone. You would paw at us to keep petting you. You loved being held like a little koala bear. Your little stub would wag so fast when you were excited to go for walks or play "bally". When we were sad or sick you would come over and comfort us. The house is just not the same now. Roycie misses you too. I feel like you waited for me to come home that terrible day and everything happened so fast. We never even got to say goodbye!

Lola, our world will never be the same without you. You were our angel here on earth. Now you are our angel in heaven. Watch over us until we are together again someday. We love you so much forever and ever!!! 💜💜💜
