I read your comment today and want to say I am so sorry, we lost our precious cat Cricket on January 21. She was 11 years old and had kidney failure so we were given the option of putting her to sleep or letting her live maybe 2 days but not more than 2 weeks. We chose to put her to sleep as much as we wanted to bring her home we knew her quality of the remainder of her life would have been poor. We visited her at the vet spent about 45 minutes holding, petting, hugging her and crying, we then said goodbye to our little angel. Yes it hurts very much to lose a pet, and I hope you will find comfort and peace. My thoughts are with you.
