Bowzer came up to me this morning purring and it reminded me of you, but he was just trying to get by to get under the bed. He wasn't interested in saying good morning and telling me he loves me like you always did. It breaks me to know I can't see or hold you anymore. I'm trying to smile and enjoy life, I just can't seem to do that right now.
I know that life is going on around me, I just can't seem to get back into it yet. I know that one day this cutting pain will not be as severe and crippling, I'm just waiting and wondering when that will be.
