Losing a Siamese

Hi there,
I lost my siamese on June 19. I had him for 16 years- ever since he was a kitten. Ever since then, it has been me and him. I used to be sad because I felt like so many people were moving in and out of my life and I often felt alone, but all along I had someone right with me. And now he's gone.

It has been two and a half weeks for me, and I'm just really sad. I miss him a lot. I hope you take comfort knowing that you did so much for her, and that she knew she was ready to go to heaven.

Siamese cats are so special. I think I'm taking this so hard because we were so bonded, and because I felt like I lived with a little person. There will never be anyone else like them, and for some reason, that brings me comfort.
