Feeling the loss
by: Anonymous

Hi Joanne,
You are so right we will never get over the loss of our fur kids. They were like our children. They say no feels the loss unless you have lost a child well I have to tell you our pets are our children. I also agree that we do torture ourselves keeping the pain alive because we don't in anyway want the memory to fade. I try to tell myself that they will always be in our heart. I do hope we find some peace and comfort in the new year.

God Bless to everyone who has lost their pet soulmate.

Anna (Wash,PA)

Thank you

Thank you for the wonderful sentiment you took the time to send to the rest of us pet owners who have lost our life long companions. I lost my 20 plus year old husky mix Buddy on June 11, Like you some people say it seems like I have gotten over it but I truly believe I never will. I look at his beautiful blue eyed picture everday and remember my animal soul mate. Even my vet said he had never seen such a connection between a human and her animal. May you have a truly wonderful new year with warm memories of your babies who will remain forever in your heart and soul, and like you til we all meet again at the rainbow bridge (personally I can hardly wait) and see our babies happy and healthy, god bless and keep you in his loving embrace.
