Still Painful... One Week LaterApril 16, 2012

Well a week has passed and the last few days were a bit better; however that changed when I went to pick up Bailey's remembrance package tonight. I also took a token of our appreciation to our vet.
Our vet has been so patient and compassionate through the past few months... always available and always forthright too. When I saw her tonight I immediately teared up and wept... makes me realize I haven't pushed those feelings and emotions too far away and they are still very raw.
Bailey's remembrance package is beautiful.... a bit of comfort to know he can still be with us in that sense.
