I am so very sorry for your loss.
I lost my beloved Barabbas over three months ago and everyday I ache.
You have to forgive yourself for not being there. We have no control over some of the things that happen in our lives.
At first I was so angry for God taking him from me, but now I thank him for letting me have him in my life for 12 years. I was blessed.
Give yourself time Liz...don't be concerned about other people, just do what is right for you to get through this time.
Whatever brings you comfort DO...
this is something you have to learn to live with..that sounds unbearable but in time you will understand why I say that.
For the ones that don't understand I feel sorry for...they have never had this kind of love in their lives...for us, we have been blessed. Try to remember that Liz and find your strength to get through this time......Mary
