Dear Kane,
I have loved you since the first time I saw your face. You were my protector, my companion and my best friend.
I feel so lost without you but look out at your resting place and know you are at peace.
Run, jump, bark and play with your wonderful new friends. Enjoy the days without pain or worry. Know that not a moment goes by without my thoughts turning to you and missing you terribly. But also know that we will meet again. When we do, Dad and I will cover you with hugs, kisses and tears of happiness.
