'Sue & Abby'

A Time To Heal

July 20, 2011

Well, Abby it has been over 5 weeks since you have been gone, but I can remember it like it was yesterday. The hurt will never go away, but I am starting to heal by your help and leading me to a rescue companion.

Bella has come into my life and I can feel you through her. She has your markings and your sweet strong spirit. I know you are telling her what do do and coming back to me through her. She even has a runny nose like you did. My eyes still well up with tears and it still hurts a lot. I hope through Bella we can be always connected. No new companion will ever take your place, but it will let me know you want me to move on.

Thank you my dear Abby for the 17 wonderful years you gave me on this earth. I look forward to the day when we will all be together again. I love and miss you much puppers. Play and be happy my precious Abbers.

Love,

Mom
