Thank you for sharing your poem about Tricky. I had to euthanize my Kiwi over a year ago. The pain that was once so overwhelming has mostly subsided, so every now and then I return to this site. As I read the poems of others who have shared this experience, it brings it all back.
I feel I owe Kiwi something for all the joy and love he brought me. This repeated tearing at my heart is all I know how to give. I pray you will heal from your pain soon, but for as long as it is there accept it as a measure of that bond you once shared.
