'How I Loved My Donny'

by The 14 year old poet

Death is in air
The death of an old white horse
His name; Donny

His death was tragic to me
How loved could he be
How much I loved my Donny

With his mane and tail
White as snow
His fur; soft as a pillow

The kisses he gave with his fuzzy nose
The bows he made, oh so low
So low, his nose tickled my toes

His death was tragic to me
How loved he came to be
How much I loved my Donny

How will I ever be
Without my beloved Donny
I love you my big white horse

Forever and Always
