Your Pet Loss Poems

'R.I.P Bambi'

by Natasha
(Australia)

Bambi, you made me smile,

from then it's been a while.

Tears roll down my cheek,

right now I'm feeling weak.

But it's alright, you're going up, up,

over the clouds above,

To an unknown place you've never been,

where it's grassy, fruity and squeaky clean.

And you'll wait for me to arrive,

running, squeaking in delight.
