There was once a time when you came and touched my heart;

You brought us joy and I felt incomplete even at the shortest time we are apart.

There were times when you'd just look at me and I would smile,

You are simply someone that made our lives worthwhile...

Sorry for the times that I shout at you when I get mad,

Coz you munched on my working shoes and said to you "HEY, that's bad!"...


There were times when we would not sleep coz you got very ill;

You got us all worried and hope for your quicker heal.

I will cherish the moments I spent teaching you a trick or two;

I have always been proud of you whenever you learn something new...

On my loneliest days you are the only cure;

You were a beautiful creation with a heart so pure...

Now the time has come for you to leave this cruel world;

There will be no more pain and sorrow, you're going to where beautiful places are told...

I wish we were given infinite time to cuddle and play;

And feel your wet cold nose as you kiss my cheeks everyday...


Run free my dear friend, run free;

You may be leaving me now, but in my heart you will always be...


I wish that when my time comes you would be running to greet me;

And we will continue our journeys together,

In a place where time does not matter and where we will both run free..
