Today I sit alone and cry,
Without you by my side.
Of all the times I've said goodbye,
This one made me cry.
If there was anything I could have done,
Please know I would have tried.
But now you are in the sky,
You are looking down from above.
Today I sit and cry,
This time your spirit is here,
You are sitting by my side.
I just wanted you to know,
I love and miss you dearly.
No more pain no more suffering,
You are healthy and free.
I know one day we'll meet again,
Up in the sky above.
But until that day comes,
Please watch for me from above.
