You never knew how much I loved you,
You never knew how much I cared,
You never knew what you meant to me,
You never knew the heart that I shared

You never knew cos I didn't show it,
You never knew cos I was elsewhere,
You never knew cos I was distracted,
You never knew and it wasn't fair

You never knew cos you were pushed out,
You never knew cos you were second best,
You never knew cos you had grown old,
You never knew till this final test

Now you know how much I loved you,
Now you know how much I cared,
Now you know how much I miss you,
After the 12 years that we shared...
