Your Pet Loss Stories

'Beautiful, Brave, Domino'

by Maggie
(London)

Ten days ago I lost my darling Domino. He was a rescue cat who I only had for two and a bit years but the bond was incredible, he was a timid boy despite being a big (not fat) cat. He had the gentlest soul and when he came out of himself I felt that I had conquered Everest, I only realise totally how happy he made me now he has gone.

The vet thinks he had a stroke but I just still feel so bewildered and lost without him. My biggest wish is that he knows how much I love him and that he is happy wherever he is, I hope that it's Rainbow Bridge. Knowing this will help me cope with the emptiness I feel.
