Bella...picture perfect
It's been awhile since I said goodbye to my sweet Bella-ba.
On August 1st 2015 we let her go to be with her sweetheart, my Waggy Boy Baron. She was my second rescue, I got her the day after I got Baron....used to joke that Baron was my dog, and Bella was Baron's dog. Seemed to be true, anywhere she was, he wasn't far behind. They were a matched set, two peas in a pod.
I was lucky enough to spend four years, four months, and 23 days with her. The same thing that took Baron, took her. CHF. I hate heartworms.
She had been picked up as a stray, skeletal and starving. Imagine a 17lb beagle. Didn't take long to put a few pounds on.
She was also HW+. We went through the treatment, and my little princess was under quarantine for a month. Was pretty easy, she was soooooo timid. Took a while to win her over, but eventually Little Miss Timid became Little Miss Attitude!!
Hubby keeps saying "What's one more?" so I'm back up to five again, but each has their own special place in my heart. Like I tell them...each one is my favorite. When I cross the bridge, I plan to be stampeded.
Miss you, my sweet little girl. Run free with Baron, I'll see you again, my little Bella-ba. ♥
