Your Pet Loss Stories

I loved him as if he were my own son. I knew the day would come I just didn't want to accept it. The loss is hard there is no denying that. I wanted to take the trip with him, but I thought that would be selfish because I have other dogs and family members that love me.

Otherwise there is a emptiness and loneliness that occupies my life and I know it will never be the same. We did everything together. He was my best friend and companion day and night. He was more than a dog, he opened my heart and my eyes.

My only wish when I cross the great divide, is that he is waiting for me. I committed to the lord to live and obey his word so I can be rewarded in the end of this life. Ace the Weiner dog he touched many lives and people would go out of their way to meet him. He will be missed by many. Until then I will follow god's plan so I see and fulfil his wishes.
