Kacey was my little sheltie. I had him for 10 and a half years. He was very playful, he was the best boy ball player I ever had. To make a long story short, he had allergies. I did everything in my power for him but nothing worked. So he had to get steroid shots once a month. Not good for them, but he hung in there a long time.
He started breathing funny and bleeding out of his butt. I took to med vet. They called one night and said he not doing well do you want us to revive him. I said no. Heade it that night. I went and picked him up. I knew what I wanted to do because I promised him I will never let him suffer. I took him to my vet. It was the hardest thing to put him down, but I held him in my lap and keep telling him mommie loves u till the end.
It's been 4 months and I miss so much. I never held a dog when put to sleep. It felt like somebody stabbing me in the back but I never let go. He was cremated. Thanks for listening.
