Lexie was a gorgeous, fiesty Maltese puppy.
My kids were outside, when my youngest son screamed "LEXIE JUMPED THE FENCE!" I ran outside, my youngest daughter clutching tightly on our other puppy Teddie's leash. I ran, and jumped the fence, but Lexie was ripped at that point. I retrieved her body. The German Shepherd had ripped her. She was still breathing, so I rushed her to the vet.
Lexie died in my arms. She was 4 months old.
