Your Pet Loss Stories

'Maxxey'

by Linda
(Lancashire)

On Friday my vet and I took the decision to put my beloved Springer, Max to sleep. He was my constant companion, loyal friend for 12 years. Because he always trusted me he gladly went into the vets and lay in my arms, he didn't flinch as the injection took effect, it was over so quick.

I can't stop crying, missing my dear boy. My home is empty, everything around me is a memory, I can't describe my grief. Nothing compares to my love for you Max and you will stay in my heart forever. R.I.P. xxx
