She came into my life full of love and left the same way. For 14 years she was the mistress of the house, she was a fussy eater and slept wherever she desired. She brought me presents of mice and birds, scratched the furniture and the wall paper and covered the carpets with black fluff.
She would walk by with her nose in the air if she did not like the food she was given, she sulked when I turned the hoover on and stormed out the room. At night she sat staring at me until I went to bed so that she could jump in my chair, but I loved her like I have never loved and when she died, so did I.
