Don't blame yourself - our hearts go out to you.
My wife and I recently had to put our beautiful Tyson down for the same reason and even though we had this done at home, it was still awful and it remains so. It all came unexpectedly fast and you can only do the best that you can.
The grief is horrendous.

As my wife says, you can't speak English with them so you love them as much as possible, look out for their best interests and try to trust in that, even when this is the result.

Take care of yourselves and perhaps try and remember Rocky with love.

Don't blame yourself for her death. There are things that are really out of control. I also felt that way when my cat died. I tried to remember all the times whe had together. We want our pets to be happy so we have to let them go and pray that they will be happiest in heaven.

My heart goes out to you in your sadness. That was the last act of love you did for your little one, and though it is so very painful now, one day you will be able to think of her with a smile albeit sometimes a teary one.
My own cat, my darling Oscar died of the same thing Rocky did, one month ago and I still miss him with all my heart. And I cry almost everyday for him.

My thoughts are with you at this sad time. I hope our babies are happy at the Bridge.
