Dear Buddy:
I can't even describe how much we miss you. The days continue to go by and life is moving forward but it feels as if it is time has stood still for us.
You gave our days such purpose. I hope that we showed you exactly how important you were and are to us. I hope that you really knew. I believe you did. But I just wanted to tell you again, just in case.
We would have done anything to keep you with us forever. We could do no more, but that does not stop us from holding your spirit close and keeping it with us eternally.
I love you dearly, Bud. It's been 7 weeks and they have been the most difficult times of our lives.
Thank you for being you. Thank you for being my best friend. Thank you for sharing your life with us. I totally look forward to the next.
