I too, lost my little "baby"
by: Anonymous

So sorry for your loss. I too am without children, and my little Muffin (rabbit) was my girl. I lost her two days ago, she was 9 years old. (yes, 9). She died from old age and dehydration because she could not use one of her legs anymore. I tried to save her, but in vain. At least I was with her when she died. I woke up at 3:30 am not hearing any noise from her. I stroked her head, but I could tell she was not doing well, so I prayed, went to call overnight services to see what they charged to put her to sleep, but I got their fax number. When I came back to check on her she was gone. She was an absolute sweetheart and a joy. I still expect to see her hopping around the house, or making noise in the bathroom, or snoring at night! God's creatures are such a gift, and it does give us pain when they depart from us.
