Petie
by: Margaret Handy-Williams, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada

You're right, Nadine, saying good-bye is extremely hard. While Petie was rushed to the Vet, his last memories were of You and your brother staying, comforting him. And where you and Petie were so VERY close, there is no doubt (in my mind) you were close to Petie's mind and heart on his last breath. He adored You. He loved you so much. As You adored and loved him.

You and Petie will be in each other hearts forever and always.

You're such a brave girl, Nadine. Petie knew that too.
