Dear Jean,

I thank you for your very kind words. They were very comforting to me. I too am very sorry about your Rolo. During the past few days I've been trying to accept that this is the course of life and that for sure, one day, we will meet our little best friends again. I keep thinking that they surely must be in a better place right now, as a reward for all the happiness, comfort, laughter and unconditional love they brought us during their lives.

My dearest friend,

When I read your heartbreaking story of your sweet little cat I cried, I am so sorry that a little life had to end in such a cruel way.

I lost my beautiful hooded rat Rolo recently and my heart still aches for him, he was my best friend and companion.

These little creatures of ours are a godsend to us, but oh how the pain hurts when they leave us, god rest your lovely Koui, and I can only hope that one day we shall see our beloved pets over the Rainbow Bridge and I shall be so happy to once again be reunited with those that showed such unconditional love and trust in us.

All my love to you and your lost Koui may you find peace,
