Words cannot describe how much he meant to me and how special he was. He was my friend not just my pet, and when I found out he had died today (26/7/2013), part of me died too. Nothing hurts more than knowing that I will never get to see him again, and that I didn't realise how ill he was.

Charlie you were my first pet and my first love and although I am only 14 I will remember you for the rest of my life. I am so sorry for not showing you how much I loved you while you were still with me. I know you're in heaven know, but I still miss you so much.

You always made me smile, whatever mood I was in. You never seemed to mind my endless moaning about the most insignificant of things, and for that you are so special. I know that we'll never really say goodbye.

I'll love you forever Charlie.
