We as pet owners have a special bond to one another whether we know each other or not. We all understand the loss and emptiness felt when we lose a beloved pet.

Thanks to all for your comments... I appreciate all the kinds words.

Chester was the name of our dog that we sadly put down today. Although our Chesters look nothing alike, our feelings are the same. The loss of a pet is heartbreaking. Take care

So sorry about your loss. Chester reminds me of several of my uncle's dogs, and what great dogs they were. Like Chester, they had long (and very happy) lives, too. In your memories Chester is still with you, and will be always. With the passage of time those memories will only grow fonder.
