Dante Johnson
Dante was born May 15, 2003 and died of CHF at home on November 15, 2011.
He was a little mix dog, Chihuahua and Pomeranian. He only knew one home. He was wrapped in one of my favorite sweatshirts with a letter, a pic of the two of us and one of his favorite squeak toys, right below the window he used to sit in and wait for the mailman to come.
I miss him still, 2 months have gone by. The memories carry me through. A tribute to him? He was my tribute to love and life. He was my best friend. He was the only dog I owned from puppy to the day he died.
This was written in a card given to me by my mother:
'People who say you cannot buy happiness, have never owned a dog.'
Truer words were never spoken.
Thank you my dearest and most loyal and loving friend, for sharing your life with me.
