We knew you would be a big boy when we adopted you - all long legs and giant paws. You were the house host - every guest was your new best friend. People would say "I don't like cats, but I like that big gray one". You loved us the best though, and never turned down a snuggle.
Putting you to sleep yesterday was gut-wrenching. We didn't want you to go through what Abby did, and for no reason. We didn't want to lose you, either, but cancer made that decision for us.
I held you at the last moments, it was the only thing I could do for you. This house will be a lot emptier without you, and I will miss you for a long, long time. Forget you, never.
Love you, big gray.
