'Lola'

by Alyssa ( Mommys)
(Mattoon, IL)

Honey, all I can say is that I thank the Lord that you waited for me to get home so you could die in the comfort of my arms.

It must have been hard to hang in there like that. I know that if I was a rabbit with cancer, I would act real sick, but you were strong and hung in there, looking totally normal and fine, you strong girl you. That's why the vet gave you infection medicine instead of some for cancer, and that makes me proud.

I have so far carried your favorite carrot toy with me everwhere. You'll always be my baby. I feel like I can't go on without you - you were always more than a rabbit - you were a friend.
