Max, you gave us over fifteen wonderful years. I miss you terribly, but am happy that you're finally free of pain. You've only been gone two days, so Mommy is having a difficult time. Do not worry about me because I will be okay.
Have fun playing with the other dogs, free of pain, and like you were when you were young.
I will look forward to the day when we will see each other again.
I love you so much, Max. <3
