Dear Rolo (or Rolo P. Cornpone, as your Daddy always called you),
I knew I loved you but I had no idea just how much of my soul you occupied until we had to put you down. I still can't believe my wild hound could ever get old or that your heart would ever grow weary.
I want you to know that I don't care that you ate my paycheck that one time or the bench, or the staircase or that you kept me up all night during thunder storms. You were the most amazing and loving dog I have ever known and I miss you like crazy.
