'Shawna Sue'

To our sweet Shawna Sue, (the most beautiful Black Lab),

You were the best dog ever. We miss you so much! We brought you home as a tiny puppy and watched you grow and created a life together. You had the most beautiful black fur, I miss rubbing your neck and giving you kisses. I hope your transition to Rainbow Bridge was peaceful.

It was so hard to see you get so sick, not being able to stand up and walk to get water, play or take walks together. I think we both hated the diapers too. I did all I could do, but had to let you go. I know that you were in pain and your legs could not carry you any longer.

I am trying to be strong and not cry all the time because I know it made you upset when I would cry. We have so many happy memories and I love to think of you swimming in Lake Tahoe and having so much fun. You will forever be in our hearts, sweet girl. I hope your time at the Rainbow Bridge is just as joyous as you made our lives.

So play and run and have lots of fun, until we meet again, my beloved dog. I will see you just outside the pearly gates, and will be missing you everyday, until we are together again.
