My Dearest Tucker,
I met you when you were just 3 days old. You were brought into the animal hospital where I worked. I fell in love with you instantly. For 5 months I would see you come into the animal hospital and you would always brighten my night. Soon after I was asked if I wanted you for my own. I wasn't in the best position to take you due to house renovations, but I'm so glad that I did.
The 12 years I had with you were by far the best. You were the most loyal and faithful friend I have or will ever have. You pulled me through my divorce and were always there to protect me and always stood by my side when I was upset. I break down every now and again when I think of how you are not in my life any longer. You were my strength and though I cared for you, by far, I needed you more than you needed me.
You will always be in my heart and I know one day we will be together again.
You passed away on January 25. That was the worst day of my life, but I couldn't stand to see you suffer and thought you deserved to pass with dignity. Kevin misses you terribly and talks about you constantly. Of course your pictures grace us through every room in the house. We love you and miss you!
