Dear Bunny: I have had to say goodbye to many pets, but this past weekend I had to say goodbye to the best one of all-Spencer, my Shetland sheepdog. He was 14 years old, going on 15. He was so smart and was my best buddy. My husband always said if he wanted to find me, he looked for Spencer who would be near me.

Your website is the best one on pet bereavement I've found. All my grief symptoms were listed. I'm so lost right now, but this page had shined a light in the darkness. Thank you, Bunny, for this information as I go through one of the worst times in my life. God bless you.
