I had my lovely boy put down on Dec 2 and I feel so overwhelming guilty. I had 3 vets trying to figure out what was wrong with no conclusion. I so wish I had not done it yet. They said he was dying but he did not act sick at all. He was a 12 year old sweet Weimaraner - so funny, smart and loyal.
Many things started happening since last Christmas and he was eating less and less. The last month he ate nothing. I have not picked up his ashes yet since I cannot bring myself to go to the vet's office. I have had many furry companions all my life but I have never experienced this remorse.
