I think you can only give so many pieces of your heart away before it’s all gone. I gave her one of the last big pieces.
She was pure love, light, and joy. The chaser of butterflies with the empathy to not catch them. The best friend that always wants to hang out and play. The baby that needs to be held and tickled. The student that loves to learn EVERY DAY.
She was an example of how to live and love like every day is your last day. She helped me to not take days for granted with a fresh love and new adventure every day.
If your pet could be a soulmate, she was mine. We had our routines. We had our bonds, banter, and understandings.
Today she was gone in the blink of an eye. Home doesn’t feel like home. I will forever love her and she will be missed.
