About Annie

Annie my black Cocker Spaniel.

When did you lose Annie?

She had heart issues, and then either this past Sunday or Monday she developed pneumonia. We took to the Vet on Monday and she was given meds, but she went down hill fast and we had to take her back on Tuesday morning. They put her on an IV and said 24-48 hours we would know something, but died the next day. We did go visit her the morning of her death and took her beloved purple monkey so she would have that with her.

At which stage of pet loss grief do you feel you are currently at?

Terrible sadness.

Cathy and Annie's Story so far

We adopted her from a resuce in Arizona Feb 2000, she was a mess. She was so funny and goofy we loved her so much... we were not ready for her to die, but thankfully she took that out of our hands.
