'Natalie & Batty'

About Batty

Batty my Golden Retriever/Husky/Lab/Shepherd and Doberman mix.  Everyone who knew and greeted my beloved Batty thought he was a Retriever .Batty was 13.5 years old.

When did you lose Batty?

December 31 2012.

At which stage of pet loss grief do you feel you are currently at?

Or how are you feeling right now?

Emotionally grief stricken.

Natalie & Batty's Story so far

I had his mother and father and watched Batty be born into this world.  His mother was not a good mom.  She stopped feeding the pups at 1 week and would walk all over them.  Batty and I bonded as I would feed him and his siblings by hand.  Boy they got fat quick.

Batty was truly a dog who loved life.  He slept in my bed at my feet curled up and stretched out, like he was human.  Loved to go camping and long drives.  He was not much of  swimmer.  Batty would only go up to his mid legs, did not mind dunking his face in the water.  He loved to play and just run.

Batty was my life as much as I was his.  I do not have children.  He was my child. I would not go anywhere without him.unless work or social events.  I always had to come home.  Could not stand him being home by himself.  I could go on and on about my Batty, I am sure you have others who are grief stricken by their loss.  Thank you for understanding my pain.
