Mariah, my beautiful smooth Chow Chow. She was 16 years old when she passed away, she was my first dog I got her at 15. She was around 5 or 6. I'm 24 now :)

When did you lose Mariah?

July 4th 2011.

At which stage of pet loss grief do you feel you are currently at?

Or how are you feeling right now?

I still miss her everyday , I don't think I have dealt with it still. I got a beautiful tattoo of her on my shoulder. It helped with the healing greatly. But now that it's been a year I still feel like I'm missing a piece. If I see Chow Chows I still feel like crying.

Mila & Mariah's Story so far

She was a gift to me from go she came to me when I was 15 and stayed with me till I was 24. About 6 months before she died my ex and I got a new puppy. It was unexpected when she passed she just stopped walking on her walk and kept laying down. She passed away on her own at 10 am, was the hardest thing ever to accept.
