We lost Spike at 1:15 a.m., August 28th, 2009.

At which stage of pet loss grief do you feel you are currently at?

I'm not sure, it still feels fresh. I almost expect him to walk through the door.

Jodi and Spike's Story so far

We took him in before the holidays last year. We knew he couldn't have survived a desert winter living in the streets. We knew he was a wanderer/Romeo. But boy could he sing. He loved to hide under the kids' blankets at night. He would bounce off my legs when I came home from work. He loved our other dog so much.
