Thank you so much for creating this website - We lost our Westie - Toby-boy a little over 2 weeks ago after having the privilege and pleasure and joy of his company for 13 1/2 yrs.

He was my 60th birthday present - my first pet ever - my children had outdoor kittens and dogs over the years - but Toby was different - inside and definitely a family member - he trained us very well.

This site has helped us very much as we are going through the grieving period - and it is very hard - but today I did have the thought "I am grateful we had him for 13 1/2 years" and of course there are many happy memories to remember every day.

Not to say I won't double over in pain again, but it's a beginning in my grief stages - First read about the Rainbow Bridge in a card from our vet. love the story and thought "I will believe that".

Thanks again for creating this site - the stories of other pet owners, the poems, etc. have been so very helpful to us all - Doris-
