Dear Bunny

Thank you so much for this site. I am in so much pain, grieving for my squirrel Chippy who died 4 days ago. We rescued him when he was an orphaned baby, about 4 weeks old. He was 10 months old when he died. We had begun letting him go outside and he apparently fell out of a tree. His back legs were paralyzed and he must have had internal injuries because he died a week later.

We loved him so much! He was our baby. We even talked about him like a baby. He loved us so much, especially me (his mommy) and he was the light of our lives.

I go to his little grave on the hill several times a day and cry. I cry when I am not at his grave and I can barely function. However, reading your site and the stages of grief helped a lot. I know my feelings will change. But for now, it is rough going.

Thank you again for the site and I am so sorry to read that you suffer from illness. I hope and pray that you will feel better.
