Two Hollys
by: Linda

Two days ago I lost my precious collie cross, her name was Holly and she was also 12 years old. She's buried in my garden so I can see her grave from my kitchen window. I can relate completely with your story, I live alone also and my Holly was my constant companion and like your Holly slept on my bed with her head on the pillow next to me.

I'm so sorry I can't offer words of comfort at the moment as I still can't stop crying but I know exactly how you feel, wouldn't it be nice if both our Hollys have met and can see how much their Mums love and miss them.

Thank You Mary

God Bless You Sarah

Sarah I know exactly what you are going through...All the doubts keep running through your mind...Believe me you did the right thing for Holly....I am so glad you had her cremated...We did the same thing with Barabbas.

What comfort now having him home. We were never apart either and that week seemed like years. It's been a month for me, since losing my Barabbas...He was a 12 year old Great Dane....and the only advice I can give to you is whatever you are feeling is normal!

Everyone moves through this at their own pace...We may never recover from our loss, if that is the case, if that is the case, so be it. We will have to learn to live with this sadness.

I wish you all the very best Sarah... May God bless you!
