Your Pet Tributes

'Blue Aspin'

It's been a while since I have posted to the site. It's not because I have forgotten you Blue. I see your beautiful face on my computer screen every day. I still miss you very much. I have pictures of you around me in the house and I have kept all of your stuff.

I remember so clearly the day you went to the Rainbow Bridge. It was the saddest day of my life. You looked your best that day. I remember you walking on the road beside the vet's office. Dr. Bob said that you didn't look too bad. But I knew - how you were suffering at home. Having to wear a diaper was so degrading to you. I could not put you through that anymore. Maybe I was selfish but I hope in my heart that I was not. I just knew, I just know.

I remember our crazy times together - mostly of us chasing you with the car. You were so funny. I remember rubbing the fur between your eyes and you would go to sleep. Your times at the cottage and at Jim's cottage too. I am so glad that you left your paw print on the wall behind my head and touched my feet with your hair after you passed. It comforted me to know that you were at last free from all your hurts.

I'm looking at your beautiful face right now - those blue eyes - sooo beautiful and beautiful white teeth and beautiful fur. I will love you always and one day we will meet again. Please come running up to me and lick my face.

I love you Blue now and forever. xxxx0000
